 Eichtens Hidden Acres

Eichtens farm is an all Natural Artisan cheese company, established in 1976 as a family farm business.  The Eichten Family produces a Dutch Gouda and a variety of other European Style Cheeses.

They specialize in making a True Dutch Gouda (handmade, just as they make it in small batches, on the farms in Holland).  Eichtens first flavored Gouda was produced in 1977.  At this time, they are making a variety of 13 different flavors.  Try our Chipotle Pepper, Herb n' Spice, Tomato Basil or even our newest flavor, Olive Tapenade Gouda.

All of Eichtens cheese is made on the farm from fresh rGBH free cow's milk.  They add no coloring, additives, artificial flavors or preservatives (our milk contains no growth hormones.)

The bison themselves are totally free from any growth hormones, antibiotics or other medications. 

Their animals are raised on native pasture grasses, hay, oats and corn silage (the whole corn plant chopped).  They grow all the crops the bison consume with no pesticides or herbicides.
